89. Blessings

Hey fam!

This week will be a shorter one because Elder Zanini has some stuff he needs to do for his college, but once again, I had the best week! We are working super hard and having an awesome time here.

This week we were able to mark lots of baptismal dates with our investigators. We are faithful that these invetigators will follow through and make the leap of faith by being baptized.

The members have been giving us tons of referrals, so the work is going forward very fast. We always have people to teach, and are always pretty busy. Almost all of our investigators were referrals.

On referral we receive is Karine. She is a single mom who is 23. Her daughter, Victoria, is about one year old, and she was left alone to take care of her. She is struggling right now because she is without a job. But she is so awesome. She already has a baptismal date for the 26th of May, and she went to church yesterday.

We are also teaching Pedro who battles with depression. We are trying to include lots of members with him so he can feel more welcome at church. Yesterday he went to church, and liked it a lot. He also has a baptismal date for June 9th. Such a stud!

Edson also went to church yesterday and his baptism will be this Saturday if everything works out. He has battled his addiction, and he has been victorious! Such a testimony builder that when we rely on the Atonement of Christ, we can accomplish many things, and we can change our lives! I am so grateful for the atonement and the changes it has brought in my life.

I love you all so much! Sorry for the short email, but that is a quick rundown of our week and our investigators. Faith is powerful, prayers are answered, fasting is key, and miracles are real! Have a great week!

96. I'll Never Be the Same

Hey everyone!  The past few months/weeks, I have received lots of questions like, "Joe, what did you get out of your mission?"...
