This was an awesome week, and even without all of the snow, cold frisky air, the Christmas spirit was strong here! We had a Christmas Conference on Wednesday which was amazing! I was able to see some of my friends from my District in the MTC. It is always amazing to catch up on things with them! It was an awesome conference!
The work is going here. We have been searching and searching these past weeks, and we are slowly finding! The days are long, but we are pushing through, and recognizing the help of the Lord. We have started teaching this 20 year old named Mateus. He has studied religion before in his life, and had questions. We have marked his baptismal date for 28 of January! We hope and have faith that he will continue progressing.
Yesterday, we were able to teach a man and his wife. We taught them about the Plan of Salvation. We invited them to be baptised when they felt the message is true, and they gladly accepted. In the end of the lesson, the man asked me if I would be baptised into the Catholic church. Hah kind of caught me off guard, but it was still a funny and good expereince!
THis week being the week before Chrismtas, I tried to study the Atonement a lot. The sacrifice of Jesus Christ is marvelous. And because of him we can become clean from sin, and live again. He can also heal is in times of trial, and comfort us in times of need. He is always there for us, we just need to invite him into our lives! Hope this week was great for you all! Love you guys, have a Happy New Years!!
