This week was incredible, and I honestly feel like I am running out of time :(
Just five more weeks to give it my all. But anyways, we are happy and working hard and loving our time sharing the Gospel with everyone.
So yeah my companion is Elder Haight. He is a stud and we are having a great time together. We are working out quite a bit in the morning, so we are super swoll
Edson is doing great and is loving his Recent Convert life. He´s preparing to get the priesthood and preparing to go to the temple!! So exciting! It is such and awesome feeling seeing someone completely come unto Christ. The gospel is true!
It has gotten pretty cold here, so it has been a bit harder to get our investigators to church. Yesterday no one went, but we were able to talke to Karine about her baptismal date. She still is passing through a hard time in her life, but the Gospel and the Atonement are helping her through it.
When thinking what we should teach her, the lyrics of my favorite hymn came to my head. How Firm a Foundation. The lyrics that came to my head are,
"Fear not, I am with thee; oh, be not dismayed,
For I am thy God and will still give thee aid.
I’ll strengthen thee, help thee, and cause thee to stand,
Upheld by my righteous, upheld by my righteous,
Upheld by my righteous, omnipotent hand."
These words come from my favorite scripture in Isaiah 41:10. We shared it with Karine and the spirit was so strong that she started crying. We testified that God and the Savior would never leave her.
We foound lots of new investigators this week and we are striving to strengthen our teaching pool.
The members here are great, fasting works, and God is still a God of miracles. Love you all tons!
