55. Independence Day

Hellooo everyone!!

One more successful week here! I am loving this area! The members are amazing, and help us out a ton with referrals. And the lunches are so amazing!!

Well this week was super busy, and unfortunately had to spend more time in the office. We weren´t able to have as much time as we wanted in the proselyting.

But, we were able to find this new guy. It was such an awesome and spiritual experience. On Wednesday, we were able to get out of the office earlier, and we found him. His name was Victor. We actually were trying to find another family, but Victor was passing by, so we stopped and talked to him. He told us that he wanted to learn more about Jesus Christ. Wow! What an awesome opportunity to tell him about the Book of Mormon. We taught him about the BOM, gave him a copy, and marked a day to go back. We are really hoping that we can find him next week!

Unfortunately we haven´t been able to find Paulo and Diva this week which we are pretty bummed about. We hope everything is all right with them.

Elder Johanson was transferred back into the field now, so it looks like I am on my own now hah! I am excited to continue learning and improving.

Thursday was so cool! Our zone was invited to march in the Independence Day Parade. It was so cool, and we actually took some copies of the Book of Mormon, and were able to give some out. It was an awesome experience!

Other than that, not that much happened this week. We have been trying to use the Book of MOrmon more in our work, and it has honestly made such a difference. The Book of Mormon is such an effective tool in conversion. Love you all so much!
