25. Zone Conference

Bom dia para todos! How is everyone. This has been an awesome week, and it has flown by! It is starting to cool down a little here, but it is still super hot! This week we were pretty busy as we have lots of people we are visiting right now.

On Wednesday, we had Zone Conference. It is about a two hour bus ride to Curitiba, so we had to wake up at 4:30. It was a great conference, and we talked a ton about our purpose. Our main purpose being "Teach repentance and Baptize converts." It was a great conference, and I was able to see some old friends from the MTC, and from old areas. We also watched a video for missionaries from Salt Lake.  The Church instituted a lot of changes in the missionary schedule. We now wake up at 7:30 everyday, and have normal studies until 10:30. At 10:30 we leave the house, and start our proselyting. At 12pm we have lunch for about an hour, and after we continue our proselyting until 10:00. During the day we are now able to choose when we want to do other studies. (Language study, companionship study, etc.). Lots of changes in the schedule, so it has been a bit different adjusting. But there is something that doesn´t change, and that is our purpose!

This week was great, and we were able to teach Rosnir. We talked about the atonement of Christ, and the importance of it. He is still firm for the 18th! We are going to visit him tonight and teach him the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We also found a new family. We were knocking doors one night and started talking with them. We invited them to church, and said they would come. Yesterday we were anxious waiting for them. Unfortunately the entire family wasn´t able to come, but one of the kids came. His name is Rodrigo and he is 22 years old. We are going to return this next week, and try to teach them!

On Saturday, the sisters of a different ward asked if we were able to sing a musical number for them and their baptism. We happily accepted. I don´t remember the name in English, but I attached the recording of the song. It was an awesome experience, and the spirit was super strong!

Tudo bom here in my new area, and I am really enjoying my time here! Hope all is well back there in the cold! Have an awesome week.
