On Monday, we were able to visit Felipe again. He is still very strong in the church, and is still a big example for his mother. He received the Aaronic Priesthood, and has been passing the sacrament. He loves it!
Tuesday and Wednesday, we spent in Curitiba in meetings again. It was a great opportunity to learn, and reconfirmed to me that the President is called of God.
On Thursday we were able to visit Marilda. It had been a while that we hadn´t found her, but we were able to finish teaching her about the Plan os Salvation. At the end of the lesson, we were able to mark a baptismal date with her! She now has a date for June 4th! We are all so excited and happy for her!
We also visited Andressa and Luciano on Thursday. They both still love the church, but they still aren´t married. We are still working hard to mark a marriage date with them.
On Friday we had a family night with some members! We invited Marilda and Andressa and Luciano. They both were able to make it! See picture below..
Yesterday we were able to visit Lucas and Bianca again. Their date is still for the 20th! It is amazing to see them not only accept, but apply the gospel in their lives. I have learned a lot with them, and continue to learn and grow every day.
This week I have thought a lot about what we can reach and do with prayer. Prayer is powerful, and the ability we have to talk and express ourselves to God is a huge priviledge. It makes me think of the wonderful talk by President Nelson, "Sweet Power of Prayer" I know that when we pray, we are communicating with a loving Heavenly Father. I like to imagine my self kneeling in his presence, expressing my feelings, and doing so, i am able to remember that he is listening. Love you all!!
